Internal low voltage power supplies

Internal low voltage power supplies

Highly reliable, cost-efficient, and mountable open/ u-frame, enclosed, and modular/ configurable low voltage power supplies ideal for a multitude of applications within a variety of key markets including industrial, medical, rail, and military. Our extensive range of market-leading low voltage power supplies deliver power-density and high efficiency in any form factor. Some of our internal low voltage power supplies are designed as forced air and fanless supplies to ensure the inside of the power supply remains undamaged in rugged, mission-critical applications.

This portfolio of internal low voltage power supplies covers power ratings from 1W up to multiple kW, voltage ranges from 3.3V to 400V DC input, and 84V to 400V AC input. We also have the capability to offer AC-DC power units using brick modules for increased power in smaller dimensions as well as configuring the bricks to your exact requirements.

If you require a single standard power supply or multiple with customisation requirements due to designing into a challenging environment, through our Power Supply Technology Centre, we can ensure you are provided with a compact and powerful solution whilst supported throughout each stage of your project journey from the initial design phase to production.

Open / u-frame power supplies

Open / u-frame power supplies

Handpicked open/ u-frame low voltage power supplies providing maximum flexibility with an array of configuration options, power ratings from 1W to 1500W, single or multiple isolated outputs up to 300VDC, and auxiliary options for both fan and fanless power supplies. This multi-purpose range features ITE EN 62368-1 and medical EN 60601-1-2 4th edition safety approvals to ensure suitability for industrial and medical-grade applications up to 1kW. They also include compliance to standard EMI, immunity and EMC disturbance testing, and on some power solutions, heavy industrial levels (61000-4-2 ESD – up to 30KV). With the exception of some linear types, all of our open/ u-frame low voltage power supplies have a high-efficiency switched-mode type with universal AC input for global operation.

The open/ u-frame portfolio addresses challenging design demands including minimal headroom through ultra-low profile height, fanless requirements through convection or baseplate cooled, and compact form factors through industry-leading power densities. These industrial power supplies are commonly used in applications including AI and infrastructure, analytical instrumentation and measurement, asset tracking and security, broadcast and media, industrial automation and robotics, life science, medical and patient care, telecommunication, and traffic management.

Enclosed power supplies

Enclosed power supplies

Our portfolio of enclosed low voltage power supplies focuses on simplifying mechanical integration of the industrial power supply into your system and in parallel, providing an extra measure of electrical safety for service personnel. The range can be extended with enclosed conversion kits for some open-frame models. Enclosed power supplies and enclosed or cased versions of open/ u-frame power supplies can be used in industrial, medical, and rugged mission-critical applications. They are available with a choice of single, dedicated ATX compliant or multiple isolated outputs with numerous voltage combinations and feature either industrial, medical, military, or rail safety approvals. Some also include compliance to standard EMI, immunity, and EMC disturbance testing, and on some models, heavy industrial levels (61000-4-2 ESD – up to 30KV).

Common applications that these power solutions are applied to are AI and infrastructure, analytical instrumentation and measurement, asset tracking and security, bio life science, broadcast and media, horticultural lighting, industrial automation and robotics, medical and patient care, and military and high reliability.

Modular / configurable power supplies

Modular / configurable power supplies

Market-leading modular power solutions providing desired flexibility for you to create your own user-configurable power supply to meet your exact needs. Model dependent, our modular low voltage power supplies can supply up to 24 isolated outputs. With an ultra-wide range adjustment on the outputs (up to 58V per module), these power supplies can be configured from standard parts to offer an otherwise custom solution but with no NRE or further safety approvals.

Our modular power supplies are renowned for their outstanding performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. They feature either industrial or medical safety approvals and extensive built-in intelligence such as PMBus™ digital communication for monitoring and control, making them desirable for demanding industrial and medical applications. Some of our modular power supplies also have compliance for use in military and high-reliability applications. Other common applications for our range of modular power solutions include AI and infrastructure, analytical instrumentation and measurement, asset tracking and security, bio life science, broadcast and media, horticultural lighting. If you require support throughout your project, we are uniquely positioned with our in-house design engineers and Power Supply Technology Centre to provide you with value-add services such as pre-configuring modules and supplying you with a bespoke, plug-and-play solution.
