DC power supplies
DC power supplies produce a DC voltage output and generate the output power by converting an input signal into a DC output signal.

AC power sources and analysers
An AC power source is a device that is capable of supplying stable and reliable power to a load. Since your product will have to operate in the real world of unpredictable AC power, you need to design and verify its correct operation under a wide range of AC power inputs. Brownouts, dropouts, sags, and other irregularities are not unusual in many communities today. AC power sources and analysers have the features needed to easily accomplish this test goal either in an R&D environment or on the manufacturing test floor.

DC electronic loads
Electronic loads sink current and dissipate power in an accurate and controlled way out of a power source. They test power sources by emulating a device under test (DUT). Device manufacturers and design engineers use electronic loads to test power devices such as power supplies, DC-DC converters, chargers, adapters, batteries, solar panels, fuel cells, and more. By using the right software, you are able to simplify the creation of load profiles and data logging and characterise devices with visual measurements over time.

Source measure units
A source measure unit or SMU is a source and measurement resource for test applications requiring high accuracy, high resolution, and measurement flexibility. SMUs are sometimes also referred to as source monitor units. An SMU can precisely force voltage or current and simultaneously measure voltage and/or current.
An SMU combines the features of a digital multimeter, true current source, electronic load, power supply, and pulse generator, all into a single, tightly synchronised instrument. Source measure units are considered more useful than a combination of any of the five mentioned instruments due to the instrument’s high accuracy, performance, and versatility.
Our source measure units are extremely cost-effective source/measurement solutions with superior performance. They are categorised into four areas: precision, application-specific, general-purpose, and basic. Available as benchtop or USB models, these instruments have excellent voltage and current sourcing capabilities at the highest precision and multiple software control options allow you to choose the solution that best fits your particular SMU application.

Noise measurements are key to assuring that added noise of a network is minimal. The need for highly repeatable, accurate, and meaningful measurements of noise without the complexity of manual measurements and calculations has led to noise figure measurement instruments with simple user interfaces. The noise figure of a network is defined as the ratio of the signal-to-noise power ratio at the input to the signal-to-noise power ratio at the output. Therefore, the noise figure of a network is the decrease or degradation in the signal-to-noise ratio as the signal goes through the network.
