De WPEQ-268AXI(BT) is Qualcomms eerste Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) mini PCIe-module die tri-band werking (2,4 GHz, 5 GHz en 6 GHz) in Dual-Band Dual-Concurrent (DBDC) modus ondersteunt. Het kan 2,4 GHz gelijktijdig met 5 GHz of 6 GHz draaien en ondersteunt volledige IEEE 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n-protocollen met een kanaalbandbreedte tot 160 MHz.
Met 2×2 MU-MIMO-spatiale stromen, maakt dit module gebruik van de Qualcomm WCN6856-chipset en gebruikt het PCIe voor Wi-Fi en USB voor Bluetooth. De standaard mini PCIe vormfactor maakt eenvoudige integratie in bestaande platforms mogelijk zonder herontwerp.
De WPEQ-268AXI(BT) ondersteunt Windows en zal binnenkort open-source Linux-stuurprogramma’s aanbieden. Compatibel met x86 en ARM-platforms, ondersteunt het zowel STA- als Soft AP-modi. Ideaal voor digitale signalisatie, POS, robuuste tablets, ventilatorloze automatiserings-pc’s en andere industriële toepassingen die snelle draadloze connectiviteit vereisen.
