The EMB-LR1276S is a low-cost, ultra-compact wireless module (11.5 × 11.5 × 2 mm) designed to easily integrate LoRa®/LoRaWAN® long-range connectivity into existing products. It supports output power up to +18 dBm for US use or +14 dBm for EU, with high sensitivity down to –136 dBm and extremely low power consumption (≤1 μA in sleep mode).
The module features an embedded IEEE EUI-64 address and includes the Microchip ATECC608A crypto unit for secure communication. It comes preloaded with a LoRa®/LoRaWAN® stack for quick integration and supports AT-like commands via the EBI-LoRa protocol over UART. As an open platform, it also allows for custom firmware development.
The EMB-LR1276S is available in two versions: the EMB-LR1276S/PC with a pad connector, and the EMB-LR1276S/UL with a micro U.FL connector for external antennas. An evaluation kit (EMB-LR1276S-EVK) is recommended for users developing custom firmware.
