The TAU1113 GNSS module is a compact and power-efficient solution ideal for a wide range of positioning applications, particularly in battery-powered environments. It supports multiple global navigation satellite systems including GPS/QZSS, BDS, Galileo, GLONASS, and SBAS, which ensures high availability and positioning accuracy. The module is based on the HD812X GNSS chip, known for its reliability and fast acquisition times.
The TAU1113 integrates key components such as a SAW filter for noise suppression, a low noise amplifier (LNA) for improved signal sensitivity, flash memory for configuration and data retention, and an antenna supervisor for monitoring antenna performance. Its ability to work with both active and passive antennas offers flexibility in system design.
Power efficiency is a standout feature of the TAU1113. It consumes very low power during operation and maintains an extremely low backup current, making it especially suitable for battery-operated devices. Its fast start-up capability enables quick positioning after waking from sleep or backup mode, helping to conserve energy and extend device life.
Typical applications for the TAU1113 include asset and fleet tracking, personal and pet location devices, portable navigation systems, vehicle telematics, smart logistics solutions, and other GNSS-based portable electronics. With its combination of performance, flexibility, and energy efficiency, the TAU1113 is a strong choice for compact GNSS applications.
