The ALLYSTAR HD8040 series comprises highly integrated GNSS receiver chips and is the world’s first multi-band, multi-system SoC to support BDS-3. It can track all major global civil navigation systems—including BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, IRNSS, QZSS, and SBAS—across L1, L2, and L5 frequency bands.

Built on the advanced CYNOSURE III architecture, the HD8040 integrates multi-band GNSS RF and baseband in a single chip, achieving sub-meter positioning accuracy without the need for ground-based correction data.

The HD8040 series is ideal for a wide range of applications, including smartphones, wearable devices, UAVs, vehicle tracking and management, autonomous driving, car and marine navigation, and engineering surveying.

  • Supports BDS-3 signals – Fully compatible with the latest BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS-3), enabling improved accuracy and enhanced global coverage.

  • Concurrent multi-band GNSS reception – Simultaneously receives signals across multiple frequency bands (L1, L2, L5) from various satellite constellations, improving positioning accuracy and signal robustness.

  • Supports all civil GNSS signals – Tracks all major global navigation satellite systems, including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, IRNSS, QZSS, and SBAS, ensuring reliable positioning worldwide.

  • Ultra-low power RTC mode – Features an ultra-low power Real-Time Clock (RTC) mode that minimises energy consumption during standby or idle periods, extending battery life in portable devices.

  • Built-in AES/DES/SM4 data encryption engine – Integrates hardware-based encryption standards (AES, DES, SM4) to ensure secure data transmission and protect sensitive positioning information.

  • Smart jammer detection and suppression – Includes advanced algorithms to detect and mitigate GNSS signal jamming and interference, maintaining stable and accurate navigation even in challenging environments.
