MTC gap filler As electronic equipment and systems are getting smaller and performance is rising, the development of unwanted heat is increasing. In order for temperature-critical electronic components to continue to function properly, heat must be dissipated to the heat sink, heat spreader or any other kind of system. Acal BFi offer thermally conductive gap fillers from MTC.

Gap fillers are based on silicone filled with ceramic particles. They are used to bridge bigger gaps between the hot spot and a heat sink, heat spreader or chassis. They can be supplied in sheet form or cut to desired dimensions. Kiss cut parts can be supplied as well.

Our gap fillers are RoHS-compliant and we hold a UL94-V0 certification for it.

  • Thermal conductivity from 1W/mK to 7W/mK.
  • Different hardnesses (Shore 00).
  • Soft sheets (50- 65 Shore 00).
  • Supersoft sheet (30- 40 Shore 00).
  • Ultrasoft sheet material (10-20 Shore 00).
  • Adhesion (tackiness) whether double or single sided.
