Direct modelling of inductor saturation behaviour in a SPICE-like transient analysis

Time-space (transient) simulation of electric circuits is a common tool for their development. Inductive components, like chokes, are the main component in many circuits.

In this paper, we demonstrate how the saturation behavior of an inductor can be directly inserted as a software function into the mathematical description of a circuit and included in a SPICE-like numerical simulation.
