The MSO-2000 series is a mixed-signal oscilloscope, which offers dual analog channels + 16 digital channels or 4 analog channels + 16 digital channels. The MSO-2000 series includes MSO-2000E and MSO-2000EA. MSO-2000E has a built-in 16-channel logic analyser and MSO-2000EA has a built-in 16-channel logic analyser and a dual channel 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator. The entire series features bandwidth selections of 200MHz, 100MH, and 70MHz. Dual analog channel models provide 1GSa/s real-time sampling rate per channel; four analog channel models provide 1GSa/s maximum real-time sampling rate. The 8-inch 800 x 480 TFT LCD and the minimum 1mV/div vertical range allow the MSO-2000 series to measure complex feeble signals and clearly display measurement results.

For analog channels, the MSO-2000 series provides 10M long memory for users to completely retrieve and analyse waveforms. Users, based upon the application requirements, can select 1k, 10k, 100k, 1M or 10M memory depth. Short memory depth collocating with the high sampling rate allows users to observe fast-changing waveforms and, on the other hand, long memory depth aims for continuously changing waveforms. The MSO-2000 series is equipped with waveform search and segmented memory functions to expand the flexible applications of 10M long memory. The segmented memory can be divided the maximum into 29,000 sections for users to bypass any unimportant waveforms so as to swiftly search all required waveforms. With the segmented memory function, more meaningful waveforms can be saved and target waveforms can be displayed rapidly. Users, by using the waveform search function, can rapidly search desired waveforms according to the required trigger conditions.

16-channel logic analyser has a memory depth of 10Mpts per channel, which can retrieve more and longer digital signals as well as clearly display digital signals to obtain sufficient information for analysis. The minimum input swing of logic analyser represents the minimum operating voltage of ±250 mV, which demonstrates that digital channels are highly sensitive with respect to input. The standard bus trigger and decoding functions include serial and parallel bus such as I2C, SPI, UART (RS232/422/485) and CAN/LIN bus for automotive communications. The parallel bus function is only for digital channels. Bus waveforms can be triggered and decoded in real time. The MSO-2000 series offers complete analysis and debugging capabilities with the economical pricing. 

In addition to a 16-channel logic analyser, MSO-2000EA has a built-in dual channel 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator with the modulation capability and also features 14 bits vertical resolution; sample rate of 200MSa/s; 5 standard output waveforms (Sine, Square, Pulse, Ramp, DC, Noise) and 7 user-defined waveforms (Sinc, Gaussian, Lorentz, Exponential Rise, Exponential Fall, Haversine, Cardiac); AM/FM/FSK modulation and sweep function. The user friendly interface is the ideal choice for applications such as circuit simulation and education tests.

The GPT-9800 series is a new series of safety tester (hi-pot tester/hipot tester) with high durability and multiple user-protection design. The GPT-9800 series meets a variety of safety standards such as IEC, EN, UL, CSA, GB, JIS and other safety-related requirements for the safety tests of electronic products and components.

A total of 4 safety testers in the GPT-9800 Series, namely GPT-9804, GPT-9803, GPT-9802 and GPT-9801, are available for various applications. The GPT-9804 is a 4-in-1 model capable of performing AC withstanding, DC withstanding, insulation resistance and ground bond tests. The GPT-9803 is a 3-in-1 model capable of performing AC withstanding, DC withstanding as well as insulation resistance tests. The GPT-9802 is capable of performing both AC and DC withstanding tests, whereas the GPT-9801 is able to perform AC withstanding test. The series of safety tester is built upon a high-efficiency PWM amplifier platform with AC 200VA maximum output capacity to impede the influence from the voltage fluctuation of the input AC source. This ensures a stable voltage supply for all the tests of the GPT-9800 series.

Targeting user’s protections, the GPT-9800 series uses a combination of hardware and software controls to improve safety: A self-check is performed to make sure all the functions and operations are under normal condition each time when the tester is turned on; the zero crossing turn-on design imposes the output voltage to always begin at the zero crossing of a sine wave to avoid the impact of surge voltage output; and the output voltage is automatically cut off (within 150μs) when abnormal output voltages have been detected or when the upper or lower current limits have been reached during testing. To protect operator from hazardous injury, the GPT-9800 Series automatically discharges the DUT after test (within 200ms) each time to eliminate excessive voltage that remains on the DUT. To further ensure safety, the interlock connector can also be used as double protections to prevent inadvertent operation.

The GPT-9800 series, equipped with a simple and clear panel layout, a high-resolution dot matrix LCD display, and colour LED indicators, allows operators to interpret measurement results easily and quickly. All major test functions, including AC withstanding (AC 5kV/40mA), DC withstanding (DC 6kV/10mA), insulation resistance (DC 50V ~ 1000V) and ground bond (AC 30A max.) tests, are performed under a high-stability voltage output with high-resolution measurement results. Furthermore, the test duration, ramp up time and upper/lower limits of the output voltage are fully adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of safety tests with accurate measurement results.

Other functions and features of the GPT-9800 include: open circuit detection for ground bond testing to get correct measurement result with confidence; 100 sets of memory to save panel settings, which can be recalled for single test individually or for automatic tests in sequence; a remote output on-off terminal in the front panel and a signal I/O port in the rear panel provided as the means for remote start/stop control of the safety tester; RS-232C, USB and GPIB (optional) interfaces available for PC remote control and test result logging.

Luminit is the only manufacturer of an extreme angle (100°) Micro LED Diffuser (MLD) for use on portable and wearable displays. MLD works on the same principle as Luminit’s Light Shaping Diffusers (LSDs). Invisible to the naked eye are holographically recorded LSD microstructures embedded on polyester film. When applied to a lighting surface, the film conceals and controls the output of an LED light source and spreads the light depending on the angle of distribution (eg 100° circular).

The MLD is based on the principle of surface scatter instead of volume or random scatter.  The low back scatter of the LSD structures are anti-reflective in nature and utilize light that would otherwise be wasted. Because surface relief scatter is much more efficient, Luminit LSDs have a transmission efficiency of about ~92%, which is much higher than conventional diffusers.

The light hits the diffuser once with no significant loss of light or display resolution, and because internal reflection is eliminated, Luminit’s MLD can be placed directly on top of the LEDs, thus preserving space.

In addition, MLD incorporates the widest beam spread available on the market so the tiniest point of light will be spread to create a more even and visually pleasing display.
